Press the seal in until the shoulder (1) of the seal

installation tool is bottomed against the hub (2).

Remove the seal installation tool.

Section 25 - Four-Wheel Drive Front Axle - Chapter 10

Install the planetary gear hub and bearing.

Place the shim pack (1) on the retaining plate (2) and

apply a bead of Loctite ® 271 to the new bolts.
