Remove the snap ring from inside the clutch plate

Remove the backing plate, friction plates, separator

plates, and reaction plate (thicker separator plate).

Install the compression sleeve CAS1903-3 with the

notch over the piston return Belleville washers. The

opening in the sleeve must be over the ends of the

snap ring. Compress the Belleville washers with a

hydraulic press and remove the snap ring.

Section 21 - Transmission, Drivelines - Chapter 4

Remove one piston return Belleville washers.

Remove the lube management ring.

Remove eight Belleville washers.

NOTE: Record oreintation of Belleville washers and

lube management ring for reassembly. It is important

that washers and ring are properly reinstalled.
