Remove the two compression sleeves.

Install the needle thrust bearing and two bearing

thrust washers. The needle bearing must be between

the two bearing thrust washers.

Align the gear teeth on all the friction plates.

Install a new seal ring on the hub of the high range

Install the high range drive gear. The teeth on the

gear hub align with the fr iction plates. Slight

oscillation of the dr ive gear will help with the

installation.

Install the caged needle bearing.
