Remove the two bearing thrust washers and the

needle thrust bearing.

Install the compression sleeve CAS1903-3 with the

notch over the piston return Belleville washer. The

opening in the sleeve must be over the ends of the

snap ring. Compress the Belleville washers with a

hydraulic press and remove the snap ring from both

sides of the clutch plate carrier.

Remove the piston return Belleville washers and lube

management ring from each side of the clutch plate

IMPORTANT: Note orientation of Belleville washers

and lube management ring for later installation.

Remove the carrier retaining snap ring from each

side of the clutch plate carrier.
