STEP 246
1. Install the first washer with the concave side
facing up.
2. Install the second washer with the concave side
facing down.
3. Install the next six washers, alternating the
position of the washers until the last washer
concave side is facing up.

Install the lube management ring.

Install final washer with concave facing upward.

STEP 249
Install snap ring and Belleville washer compression
sleeve as follows:
1. Install a centering sleeve CAS1903-4 over the
shaft.
2. Install the snap ring over the centering sleeve.
3. Install the Belleville washer compression sleeve
CAS1903-5 on top of the snap ring.
STEP 250
Install snap ring as follows:
1. Install the compression sleeve CAS1903-3 with
the notch over the shaft.
2. Use a hydraulic press to push the sleeves down.
The snap ring will be pushed into position in the
groove with the pin between the snap ring ends.
3. Verify that the snap ring is seated properly in the
groove.
