REMOVAL OF THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL FROM THE CARRIER HOUSING

Place the carrier housing on a clean work surface.

Remove the three socket head screws from the seal

retainer. (3 mm Allen wrench).

Remove the bolt and washer locking the adjusting

nut in place.

Section 25 - Four-Wheel Drive Front Axle - Chapter 9

Remove the seal retainer.

Mark the bearing cap.

Remove bearing cap retaining bolts and washers

then remove bearing cap. (24 mm or 15/16 inch
