Properly support the planetary hub cover. Remove

the three (3) Allen head bolts. Separate and remove

the hub cover from the planetary hub.

Remove the retaining rings that secure the planetary

gear pins to the planetary hub cover.

Remove the planetary gear pins by threading a

suitable bolt into the pin and prying up on the bolt

Remove the thrust washers from the top of the

planetary gear.

Remove the planetar y gear through the center

opening of the gear plate. Remove the upper level of

needle bearings in the planetary gear. Remove the

spacer and the lower level of needle bearings.

Inspect all components for damage or wear.

Remove the lower thrust washers and inspect for

damage or wear.
