Remove the piston from the housing.

Remove the short pinion shaft retaining bolts from

the housing.

Insert an M8 bolt into the short pinion shaft hole.

Section 21 - Transmission, Drivelines - Chapter 8

Remove each short pinion shaft from the housing.

Remove the short spacers from the housing.

Remove the shor t shaft pinion gears from the

housing. Remove the thrust ring and needle bearings

from both short shaft pinion gears.
