STEP 16
Remove snap ring as follows:
1. Install the compression sleeve CAS1903-3 with
the notch over the piston retur n Belleville
washers (see the Special Tools page in this
section).
2. The opening in the special tool must be over the
ends of the snap ring.
3. Compress the Belleville washers with a hydraulic
press and remove the snap ring.
NOTE: See Steps 27 through 30 for an alternative
method for removing the snap ring.
