Install the retaining ring for the piston return Belleville

washers on the shaft.

1. Install the first washer with the concave side

2. Install the second washer with the concave side

facing down.

3. Install the next six washers, alternating the

position of the washers until the last washer

concave side is facing up.

Install the lube management ring.

Section 21 - Transmission, Drivelines - Chapter 4

Install final washer with concave facing upward.

Install the snap ring on the shaft and let the snap ring

lie on top of the last piston return Belleville washer

that was installed.

Install the Belleville washer compression sleeve

CAS1903-5 on the shaft and over the piston return

Belleville washers.

NOTE: The smaller OD end of the sleeve must be
