FRONT AXLE COMPONENTS
Front hub carrier bearing: Removal - Refitting
F4R or M4R or M9R or V4Y or V9X
a Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) .
a Remove the wheel speed sensor from its housing.
a Unclip:
- the wheel speed sensor wiring at (2) ,
- the brake hose from the shock absorber at (3) .
a Remove the brake calliper mounting bolts (4) .
a Hang the « front brake calliper mounting - front
brake calliper » assembly on the suspension spring.
a Remove the front brake disc (see 31A, Front axle
components, Front brake disc: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 31A-16) .

a Remove:
- the hub nut (5) using the (Rou. 604-01),
- the track rod end nut (6) .
a Detach the track rod end using the (Tav. 476).
a Remove the shock absorber base bolts (7) .
a Push the driveshaft back from the hub carrier by piv-
oting the hub carrier.
a Refit the bolts to the shock absorber base.
