Figure 25.2 shows the internal states of the TAP controller. State transitions basically conform to
the IEEE1149.1 standard.

H-UDI Reset
The H-UDI can be reset in two ways.
• The H-UDI is reset when the ETRST pin is held at 0.
• When ETRST = 1, the H-UDI can be reset by inputting at least five ETCK clock cycles while
ETMS = 1.
