10.3.2 MITEL SX-2000 REQUIREMENTS
The Mitel SX-2000 installation requirements are divided into three categories: Hardware, Software and
Configuration.
Hardware Requirements
The Mitel SX-2000 hardware interface for the Octel 200/300 with Adaptive Integration requires COV
lines to interface to the MIC ports.
MIC Port Extensions. The Mitel SX-2000 must provide a COV port for each MIC port in the Octel
200/300.
Other hardware required includes:
Cables. One 25-pair cable per slot.
Software Requirements
The following software is required for the Mitel SX-2000:

Configuration Requirements
The Mitel SX-2000 configuration must have one unassigned COS available for use with Adaptive
Integration's CPI feature. An additional unassigned COS is required if the Octel 200/300 is using DTMF
feature access codes to control message waiting indicators.

Any software release.
Prior to H10.9E, the PBX class of service option COV Voice Mail Port is not available. This
option is required to avoid certain MWI and CPI limitations.
If the PBX is using MSDN (Mitel Switched Digital Network) software, the PBX software
level must be H10.15 or later to avoid some CPI limitations.
