The following are definitions of the fields displayed when listing the state of the SLIC board.
Card ID
Card Status
Diagnostic
Link (1-2) Status
Integration Pegs
PB60019-01
The CARD ID states the type of integration card.
There are four possible states for the card:
The SLIC is down and not responding to the
CARD DOWN
software.
Code is downloading to the SLIC.
DOWN LOAD
INITIALIZATION The software is downloaded to the card and setting
up operation parameters.
The SLIC is operational.
CARD UP
The diagnostic code is read from the SLIC card.
If there are no errors, the DIAGNOSTIC = OK.

If an error is found, the DIAGNOSTIC = ERROR DETECTED,
-
CODE = XX.
If this happens, refer to the Installation and Maintenance volume,
System Errors and Traffic Pegs chapter, for more information.
There are four possible states for links to the SLIC:
Link operating properly. No call.
IDLE
Link is handling a call.
ACTIVE
Link is getting call information or commands from
DOWN
the PBX but the PBX does not recognize the
commands the SLIC card is sending back over the
link.
Link is not getting call information or commands.
DEAD
The link is probably disconnected.
Only the states DOWN and DEAD are error conditions. The link is
probably disconnected.
There are two types of pegs for integrated systems. These pegs are
independent of traffic pegs and can only be listed by using the L INT
command.
LINK-INDEPENDENT PEGS. Independent pegs refer to overall card
operation. They do not indicate an error condition.
PEGS 1−5
Not used.
