16.5 ISDN TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
The following troubleshooting and maintenance information is for an ISDN integration. Refer to the
Installation and Maintenance volume, DTIC chapter, for troubleshooting information specific to the
DTIC.
ISDN Status
Troubleshooting might require that you review the status of the DTIC-ISDN state. Three status
commands provide information about the status of the trunk and port:
STATUS TRUNK displays information on the E1 trunk.

ST CARD gives the status of the card used for DTC17-ISDN.

ST D displays the current state of the installed DTIC ports. The port state is shown for each layer,

with the first two lines showing the real ports and the third and fourth line showing the virtual ports.
LIST STATS shows trunk statistics.

The CONNECT command logs onto the DTIC card. At the @ prompt enter
CONN x
Where x is the slot number for the DTIC17-ISDN card.
@conn 4
Connecting to DTC17−ISDN in slot 4
euro>ST CARD
To exit from ISDN card status, at the euro> prompt, enter
EXIT
Enter
You are disconnected from the card and are returned to the @ prompt.
ISDN Port Status
The command STATUS DCHAN displays the current state of the installed ISDN ports. An example of a
ISDN port state screen follows.
