MCI Call Record Samples

The following are a few examples of actual records using the standard format and their description.

This is a direct call into the Octel 200/300 (the message desk) from outside of the NEAX-2400. It came
into the Octel 200/300 port with extension number 2001 defined in the Table. The call came in on trunk
001 of route 005. In this type of call, the caller hears the company greeting. If the trunk group is defined
in the TRUNK GROUP Table, the Octel 200/300 plays the company greeting for route 005.

This is also a call direct to the Octel 200/300 but from a station on the NEAX-2400. The call originated from
extension 8395. If the calling number does not have a mailbox, the caller hears the company greeting. If the
calling number has a mailbox, the caller hears "To enter your mailbox, press pound..."

This is a call to extension 4377 that was forwarded on no answer and the calling party came in on trunk
route 005. The caller hears "name/extension doesn't answer" or the greeting, if it is ON.

Same as previous, except it includes the calling station number.

This is a call to extension 4377 from outside the NEAX-2400, forwarded on a busy. The caller hears
"name/extension is busy" or hears the greeting, if one exists.

This is a call from extension 4377 forwarded on All Calls. The caller hears "name/extension is unavailable."
