10.3.8 INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
This section offers a checklist of issues relating to the Octel 200/300 and the Mitel SX-2000. The list is
presented in the order that the installation process should be followed. For details regarding any topic,
refer to the sections in this chapter pertaining to the issue.
PBX Preparation

The Mitel SX-2000 must provide a COV line for each Octel 200/300
MIC port.
2.
Confirm the SX-2000 software level for release-specific configuration
issues.
3.
The Mitel SX-2000 must have two unassigned COS available, one for
CPI and one for message waiting indicator control.

Before making any changes, print out the database. Verify and
highlight areas where changes are required.

Configure the MIC Superset extension used for CPI.
