On a call to a busy or unanswered station, the call is automatically forwarded back to Octel 200/300 pilot
number (e.g., 2500) and a call record is sent across the data link. Secondary Answering is then
customized based on the information provided in the call record.
For MWI, Octel 200/300 sends a call record over the data link to the PE or PBX, telling it which station's
lamp (or stutter dial tone) to turn ON or OFF.

Octel 200/300 System Proprietary Card Integrations

Several PBX manufacturers send digital data signals to proprietary display sets to operate MWI displays
and transmit call records. The Octel 200/300 uses integration cards to emulate the digital display sets,
intercept MWI and CPI control signals, and process the call record information collected by them.
Integration cards are available for:
AT&T System 75/Definity G1, Definity G3, and System 85/Definity G2
-
Northern Telecom SL-1
-
ROLM CBX and ROLM 9751, Models 30/80
-
Mitel SX-200 Digital, SX-100/SX-200 Analog, and SX-2000
-
Meridian 1
-
