Look at the Superset 4 display. The display should contain this information:

XXX is the extension of phone B.
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the problem
before continuing.
k. Press the display feature button on the Superset 4. The display should contain this information:

Press the Superset 4 prime line key. The display should contain this information:
TXXX CALLING
XXX is the trunk number.
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the problem

m. Press the EXIT softkey on the Superset 4 (this should appear as softkey 1). The time and date
should return to the display. Hang up phone A.
5. PBX RING-NO-ANSWER FORWARD TEST
This test verifies that an extension can forward to the Octel 200/300 on a ring-no-answer
condition.
a.
Set phone B to forward to the Superset 4 on a ring-no-answer condition by entering the feature
access code for Call Forwarding − Don't Answer followed by the extension number of the MIC
port to which the Superset 4 is connected. After setting forwarding for phone B, make sure
phone B is on-hook.
b. From phone A, call the extension number of phone B. Does phone B ring?
NO
c.
After the number of rings configured for ring-no-answer forward in phone B's PBX COS, does
phone B stop ringing and the Superset start ringing?
NO
d. Answer the Superset. Hang up the Superset and phone A.
6. PBX FORWARD ALL CALLS TEST
This test verifies that an extension can forward all calls to the Octel 200/300 access number.
a.
Set phone B to forward all calls to the Superset 4 by entering the feature access code for Call
Forwarding − Follow Me followed by the extension number of the MIC port to which the
Superset 4 is connected. After setting forwarding for phone B, make sure phone B is on-hook.
b. Using phone A, call the extension of phone B. Does the Superset 4 start to ring?
NO
c.
Answer the Superset. Hang up the Superset and phone A. Cancel forwarding for phone B.
