INTERNAL CALL TO AN EXTENSION FOLLOW-ME FORWARDED TO THE MESSAGE SERVER
This test verifies that the message server correctly processes an internal call forwarded from an
extension with Follow-Me forwarding activated so that all calls divert to the message server.
a.
Set phone B to Follow-Me forward to the message server hunt group.
b. From phone A, call phone B.
Does the message server answer with the prompt "Extension EXT-B is unavailable. Please leave a
message at the tone"?
NO ® Determine the cause and correct the problem before continuing.
c.
While still connected to the message server, enter the mailbox number of mailbox B (this should
be the same as the extension number of phone B).
Does the message server respond with the prompt "Thank you. Just a moment"?
d. After a short interval, does the message server respond with, "Extension EXT-B is unavailable.
Please leave a message at the tone"?
NO ® Determine the cause and correct the problem before continuing.

After a short interval, does the message server respond with, "Extension EXT-B is unavailable.
