The following SL-1 specific configuration commands might vary between systems. The keys 0, 1, 2, 4
and 9 must be configured as outlined in Table 6-1. The other keys are intended as a guide, not necessarily
the only way to do the configuration.
The SL-1 commands required in the configuration for both digit display set extensions are shown in the
following table. These commands configure the keys into the correct locations.

With integration, mailbox and extension numbers must match for the system to operate properly. Those
that do not match will not be integrated.
Telephones with assigned mailboxes that want secondary answering of calls should be forwarded to the
pilot number of the hunt group. This allows complete integration of both internal and external calls.
However, if internal callers want the ability to use the Ring Again feature (camp-on) on a busy extension,
the SL-1 should be programmed not to forward internal calls on a busy condition. Internal callers may

appearance. Line 1 must be configured at key 10
with successive ports configured on successive keys.

Single-call non-ring. This is 9-16 appearance. Line
9 must be configured at key #20. XXXX = exten-
sion of the Octel 200/300 port appearance.
