This test verifies that the Octel 200/300 correctly processes a call forwarded from a busy
extension.

b. From phone A, call phone B. Does the Octel 200/300 answer with the prompt, "Extension EXTB
is unavailable. Please leave a message at the tone. . . "?

6. INTERNAL CALL — FAIL−SAVE OPERATION FOR ALL PORTS BUSY
This test verifies that calls to the Octel 200/300 redirect to the designated fail-safe position when
the ports are in use.
a.
Verify that System Parameters 45 and 46 are set to NONE.
b. Put the Octel 200/300 ports in the FWD state by entering, at the @ prompt

where x is the slot number, y is the first port, and z is the last port to forward.

Using phone C, call the Octel 200/300 extension pilot number. Does the operator answer?
