addition, primary answer calls that reach a busy extension do not get call status ("is on the phone"). The
prompt says "is unavailable."
For telephones to have a visible message waiting indicator, configure them to have message waiting
under the COS (Class of Service). If message waiting is activated and the lamp is not activated, then the
PBX uses stutter dial tone for message waiting indication. The SL-1 codes are as follows:
