7. PBX SEND ALL CALLS TEST
a.
Connect the 356A adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with the configured slot.
b. Connect one digital phone to the jack position of the adapter that corresponds to Integration Unit
1, Link 1 and connect the second digital phone to the jack position that corresponds to
Integration Unit 1, Link 2.
c.
Set phone C to send all calls to coverage.
d. Using phone A, call the extension of phone C. Does phone L1 start to ring?
NO
e.
Answer the call links. Hang up on the call and phone A.
8. MESSAGE WAITING INDICATOR TEST
This test verifies that a message waiting indicator can be set and cleared using the LWC feature
keys on the 7407D.
a.
Connect the 356A modular adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with the slot that contains
links configured for lamp message waiting.
b. Connect the digital phone to the first jack position of the adapter that corresponds to the first link
configured for lamp message waiting.
c.
Go off hook on line 10 and press Feature Key 1. Is the feature key's lamp steady ON?
NO
d. Enter the extension number of phone C, then hang up. Is phone C's message waiting indicator
ON?
NO
e.
Go off-hook on line 10 of phone L2 and press Feature Key 2, then enter the extension number
associated with phone C, then hang up. Is phone C's message waiting indicator OFF?
NO
f.
Repeat steps a. through e. for all links configured.
9. DISPLAY TEST FOR DIRECT CALLS
This test verifies that ATTIC receives the proper display information from the System 85 for
direct internal and direct external calls.
