12.2.2 AT&T REQUIREMENTS
The System 75 installation requirements are divided into three categories: Hardware, Software, and
Configuration.
Hardware Requirements
The System 75 hardware interface requires one digital voice port on the switch configurable as a 7405 D
telephone for each APIC message server port. For greater reliability, ports should be provided from
multiple cards in the switch. The type of AT&T card is the TN754-family* of digital line cards that
interface to AT&T line of 4-wire digital phones.
.
Version 10 or later of the AT&T digital line card is recommended. Using a card with version
earlier than Version 10 can result in call processing errors because the display that provides the call
record is subject to slow response times in building the display.
One 25-pair cable per APIC slot is required.
.
When using 2500-type telephone sets with message waiting lamps other than AT&T 3178-SYSI or
equivalent, special PBX hardware may be required in order to allow the System 75 to control the
message waiting lamp.
.
This integration does not support the 8xxx series of digital phones for the APIC message server
ports.
Software Requirements
The following Sytem 75 software is required for the installation:
Release: 1
Version:
Options required in package:
All software releases for Definity G1 are acceptable.
Configuration Requirements

for the APIC ports.
