7. PBX RING-NO-ANSWER FORWARD TEST
This test verifies that a call to a ring-no-answer extension forwards to the Octel 200/300 access
number.

a.
Connect the 356A adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with the configured slot.
b. Connect one digital phone to the jack position of the adapter that corresponds to Integration Unit
1, Link 1 and connect the second digital phone to the jack position that corresponds to
Integration Unit 1, Link 2.
c.
Make sure that phone C is on hook.
d. From phone A, call the extension number of phone B.
e.
Does phone B ring?
NO
f.
After the number of rings configured for RNA in phone B's coverage path, phone B should stop
ringing and one or both of the links should ring.
NO
g. Answer the call. Hang up the call and phone A.
8. PBX SEND ALL CALLS TEST
a.
Connect the 356A adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with the configured slot.
b. Connect one digital phone to the jack position of the adapter that corresponds to Integration Unit
1, Link 1 and connect the second digital phone to the jack position that corresponds to
Integration Unit 1, Link 2.
c.
Set phone C to send all calls to coverage.
d. Using phone A, call the extension of phone B. Does the digital phone start to ring?
NO
e.
Answer the digital phone. Hang up the call and phone A.
9. MESSAGE WAITING INDICATOR TEST
This test verifies that a message waiting indicator can be set and cleared using the LWC feature
keys on the 7407D.
a.
Connect the 356A modular adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with the slot that contains
links configured for lamp message waiting.
b. Connect the digital phone to the first jack position of the adapter that corresponds to the first link
configured for lamp message waiting.
