Add Phantom Lines
Add the phantom lines to keys on the ROLMphone 400. Use the AMO, ADDKASU.
Field
ADDKASU:
STNO:
KYNO:
LN:
RIOP:
This step is repeated once for each phantom line assigned. Each of the eight keys (1−5 and 11−13) on
each ROLMphone 400 used for CPI must have a phantom assignment. Any given phantom line is
assigned only once. For example, if four ROLMphones are used to support 32 analog ports for CPI, 32
phantom lines are needed.
Phantom lines assigned only to the RIC links performing CPI should not be configured on the MW links.
Create Hunt Group
Create the hunt group. Use the AMO, ADDHUNT.
Field
ADDHUNT:
TYPE:
AC:
DPLN:
STNO:
NAME:
CQMAX:
FNA:
STYPE:
* Each STNO represents a phantom line. When the STNO's are added to the Hunt Group, they must
alternate between ROLMphone 400 sets., i.e., the first call should ring on one set then the next call
should ring on the other station set. If you are using multiple RIC Links, then calls must ring on each
ROLMphone 400 used for CPI in turn before starting the cycle over.
Customer Telephones
For Adaptive Integration, mailbox and extension numbers must match for the system to operate properly.
Those that do not match will not be integrated. The only exception occurs when the PBX call record
indicates, for example, a 4-digit extension and the mailbox uses a 7-digit address. The
able can be used to address such a situation in most cases. Refer to the Configuration volume,
T
Translation Table chapter, for more information.
Telephones with assigned mailboxes for secondary answering should be forwarded to the pilot number of
hunt group of the phantom lines. This allows complete integration of both internal and external calls.
