Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.
Release Information
Specifies the password for text authentication and the key for MD5 authentication
Description
for RIP remote-neighbor interface. The no version clears the key for the interface.
Supported only in RIP version 2. Authentication is disabled by default.
Options

Mode
0 Indicates the authKey is entered in unencrypted form (plaintext); this is the
default option
8 Indicates the authKey is entered in encrypted form (ciphertext)
authkey Password sent with RIP messages or the key used to encrypt/decrypt
RIP messages, depending on the authentication mode set for this remote-neighbor
interface.
