authentication key
Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.
Specifies the password for text authentication and the key for MD5 authentication. The
no version clears the key for the interface. Supported only in RIP version 2. Authentication
is disabled by default.
ipAddress—Address of IP interface where RIP will be run
unnumbered—Specifies that RIP will be run on an unnumbered interface
interfaceType—Interface type; see "Interface Types and Specifiers" on page 5
interfaceSpecifier—Particular interface; format varies according to interface type;
see Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5
0—Indicates the authKey is entered in unencrypted form (plaintext); this is the default
option
8—Indicates the authKey is entered in encrypted form (ciphertext)
authkey—Password sent with RIP messages or the key used to encrypt/decrypt RIP
messages, depending on the authentication mode set for this interface
