DTC Check
1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
2) Connect SUZUKI scan tool to data link connector
(1).

4) Read DTC according to instructions displayed on

5) After completing the check, turn ignition switch off

Detecting condition (DTC will be set
when detecting)

• Master cylinder pressure value and
brake light switch signal is disagreed
for specified time.
• Brake light switch signal voltage
becomes wrong value for specified
time.
• Lateral G sensor signal is out of
specified range.
• Vehicle behavior and lateral G
sensor signal is disagreed.
Power supply voltage to master
cylinder pressure sensor is too high or
low in ESP® hydraulic unit / control
module assembly.
Wheel speed sensor circuit is opened,
shorted to power, ground and/or each
other circuit.
• Wheel speed is different from other
wheel speed (vehicle speed) for
more than specified time.
• Abnormal wheel speed sensor signal
is detected for more than specified
time.
• Yaw rate sensor signal is out of
range.
• Vehicle behavior and yaw rate signal
is disagreed.
Electronic Stability Program:
SUZUKI scan tool and print it or write it down. Refer
to SUZUKI scan tool operator's manual for further
details.
NOTE
If SUZUKI scan tool can not communicate
ESP® control module, perform "Serial Data
Link Circuit Check".
and disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.
