Suspension bottoms
Body leans or sways in
corners
Cupped tires
NOTE
*1: Right-to-left trim height ("H") difference should be within 15 mm (0.6 in.) with curb weight. (same
with rear side.)
Possible cause
Overloaded
Faulty strut (shock absorber)
Incorrect, broken or sagging coil springs Replace coil springs.
Loose stabilizer bar
Faulty strut (shock absorber) or
mounting
Broken or sagging coil springs
Overloaded
Front struts defective
Worn wheel bearings
Excessive tire or wheel run-out
Worn ball joints
Tire out of balance
Suspension General Diagnosis:
Correction / Reference Item
Check loading.
Replace strut (shock absorber).
Tighten stabilizer bar bolts or nuts, or replace
bushes.
Replace strut (shock absorber) or tighten
mounting.
Replace coil springs.
Check loading.
Replace struts.
Replace wheel bearings.
Replace tire and/or wheel.
Replace suspension control arms.
Adjust tire balance.
