14.1 Functions of ELC
The event link controller (ELC) mutually connects (links) events output from each peripheral function. By linking events,
it becomes possible to coordinate operation between peripheral functions directly without going through the CPU.
The ELC has the following functions.
 Capable of directly linking event signals from 10 types of peripheral functions to specified peripheral functions
 Event signals can be used as activation sources for operating any one of three types of peripheral functions
