Complete rear axle system: Removal - Refitting
4-WHEEL STEERING
a Remove the parking brake cables from the stub axle
carriers and the guides (15) , without damaging the
cable protectors.
a Let the parking brake cables hang freely.

IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and oper-
ation recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 3 8 C , Anti-lock braking system,
ABS: Precautions for the repair, page 38C-3) .
a Unlock the wheel speed sensors by pressing care-
fully on the tab (16) of the sensor holder using a flat-
blade screwdriver.
a Unclip the wheel speed sensor wiring at (17) .
