Port 4

Port 4 is an 8-bit I/O port. Port 4 pins also function as external interrupt pins, TMR0_0, TMR0_1,
TMRX_0, TMRY_0, TMRX_1, TMRY_1, and FRT_1 input pins, and PWM output pins.
Port 4 has the following registers.

• Port 4 data direction register (P4DDR)

• Port 4 data register (P4DR)
• Port 4 register (PORT4)

The individual bits in P4DDR specify input or output for the pins of port 4. The read value is
undefined.

Description
While a general I/O port function is selected, the
corresponding port 4 pin is an output port when a
P4DDR bit is set to 1, and an input port when
cleared to 0.
