Function
Comment
Supplies a descriptive comment for the location.
Country Code
Specifies the two letter country code for the location.
Postal Code
Specifies the zip code or the postal code for the
location.
Npa Nxx
Specifies the first six digits of the phone number
(area code with the exchange number).
Latitude
Specifies the latitude in degree format.
Longitude
Specifies the longitude in degree format.
Altitude
Specifies (in degrees) the altitude (feet above or
below the sea level).
Lata
Specifies the long distance service area.
Vcoord
Specifies the Bellcore vertical coordinate information.
Hcoord
Specifies the Bellcore horizontal coordinate
information.

To configure location:
In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager > Devices.

Click the Device Tree tab, and then double-click the device for which you want to

configure a location.
Click the Configuration tab. In the configuration tree, select System > Locatoin.

Add or modify the settings as specified in Table 341 on page 548.

Click one:

OK—Saves the changes.
Cancel—Cancels the modifications.
Apply—Applies the location settings.
Your Action
(Optional) Enter a comment.
Enter the country code for the location.
Enter the zip code or the postal code of the
location.
Enter the phone number (area code with the
exchange number).
Enter the latitude of the location.
Enter the longitude of the location.
Set the altitude of the location. Range:
-2147483648 - 2147483647.
Enter a long distance service area of the location.
Enter a Bellcore vertical coordinate value.
Enter a Bellcore horizontal coordinate value.
