Function
Specifies either secure authentication (using encrypted
HTTPS) or nonsecure authentication (using plain-text
HTTP).
You can configure the following options with captive portal:

Configuring Traceoptions (NSM Procedure) on page 503
This section provides information on configuring custom options for captive portal.
To configure custom options:
In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager > Devices.

Click the Device Tree tab, and then double-click the device for which you want to

configure the custom options feature.
Click the Configuration tab. In the configuration tree, select Services > Captive Portal

> Custom Options.
Select the Enable Feature check box.

Enter the parameters as specified in Table 306 on page 501.

Click one:

OK — Saves the changes.
Cancel — Cancels the modifications.
Apply—Applies the custom option parameters.
Function
Supplies a descriptive comment for the custom
option. This is optional.
Specifies the path for the header logo.

Specifies the terms and conditions of usage message.
Specifies the login form header message.
