Forwarding classes allow you to group packets for transmission. Based on forwarding
classes, you assign packets to output queues.
By default, four categories of forwarding classes are defined: best effort, assured
forwarding, expedited forwarding, and network control.
NOTE: EX-series switches support up to 16 forwarding classes.
To configure CoS forwarding classes:
In the navigation tree, select Device Manager > Devices.

Click the Device Tree tab, and then double-click the device for which you want to

configure CoS forwarding classes.
Click the Configuration tab. In the configuration tree, expand Class of Service.

Select Forwarding Classes.

Add or modify settings as specified in Table 61 on page 130.
