Configuring a Policy (NSM Procedure)

Name
Specifies the name of the policy.
Comment
Supplies a descriptive comment for the policy.
Description
Specifies a text description for the IPsec policy.
Proposal Set
Specifies the type of default IPsec proposal set.
policy > Perfect Forward Secrecy
Comment
Supplies a descriptive comment for the perfect
forward secrecy option. This is optional.

Enter a comment in the Ipsec workspace that describes the IPsec.

To configure the policy option:
In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager > Devices.

Click the Device Tree tab, and then double-click the device for which you want to

configure the policy option.
Click the Configuration tab. In the configuration tree, select Security > Ipsec > Policy.

Add or modify settings as specified in Table 241 on page 409.
