To change the parameters of an IP card, the signaling link to the card and the card have to be
inhibited.
2. Display the signaling link associated with the card shown in
specifying the card location.
For this example, enter this command.
rtrv-slk:loc=1201

3. Retrieve the status of the signaling link shown in
specifying the card location and signaling link.
For example, enter this command.
rept-stat-slk:loc=1201:link=a
The output lists the signaling link assigned to this card:

If the signaling link is in service-normal (IS-NR), continue the procedure with
the signaling link. If the signaling link is out-of-service-maintenance disabled (OOS-MT-DSBLD),
continue the procedure with
4. Deactivate the signaling link assigned to the IP card using the rept-stat-slk command.
For example, enter this command.
dact-slk:loc=1201:link=a
CAUTION: This command impacts network performance and should only be used
during periods of low traffic.
After this command has successfully completed, this message appears.

Deactivate Link message sent to card.
5. Verify the new link status using the rept-stat-slk command.
