Remove the lower arm support.
Tip
If the lower arm support is hard to loosen from
the swing, use a plastic hammer to knock on the
lower arm support lightly.
Action
DANGER
Make sure that all supplies for electrical power,
hydraulic pressure, and air pressure are turned
off.
CAUTION
Loosening timing belts will release axes. This
means the axes can fall down.
Make sure axes are well supported before
loosening timing belts.
CAUTION
The upper arms, which includes housing, extender
unit (only for CRB 1300-7/1.4 and ), tubular and
tilt unit weighs 17 kg.
All lifting accessories used must be sized accord-
ingly!
Fit a roundsling to the upper arm to support the
weight (no force).
Loosen the screws and move the motor slightly
to slacken the timing belt.
