The following assumptions were used in developing the examples in this section:
Channels 1 through 6 are connected to telephone sets through the VOICE

CHANNELS port.
Channels 9 through 14 are connected to a digital private branch exchange

(PBX) through the SECONDARY/FRACTIONAL T1 port.

Channels 17 through 24 are connected to an Ethernet ring through the

10BASE-T port.
Assign channel units to DS0 channel ranges using the following procedure:
Go to the config/DS0 menu. Use the ConnectReach command to assign channel
units to DS0s as follows:

(config:DS0-provisioning:ConnectReach) > 5- 8 440
(config:DS0-provisioning:ConnectReach) > 9- 12 443
(config:DS0-provisioning:ConnectReach) > 13- 16 443
