    • • • • Introduction • • Handling Brick® Components To prevent damage to components from electrostatic discharge, always follow the proper guidelines for equipment handling and storage. Adapter cards and semiconductor devices in general can be easily and permanently damaged due to electrostatic discharge during installation and removal.
