Before you can use a Web browser to configure and monitor the SLC
ConnectReach system, you must:
Verify that the SLC ConnectReach system has been installed and

connections made to the Ethernet or T1 network according to the
procedures contained in Chapter 5, "Installation".
Configure the SLC ConnectReach system for an Ethernet or Network T1/

DSX-1 connection, including an Internet protocol (IP) address, subnet
mask, and broadcast address according to the procedure in Chapter 4,
"Configuring the SLC
Have a Web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet

Explorer, running on a provisioning terminal (computer) that is connected to
the same network [local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN)]
as the SLC ConnectReach system. The hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP)
interface supports the following browsers:
— Netscape Navigator 3.x and above
— Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x and above.
