There is one channel bank configuration command, unconfigured-state , that
is not part of the template. The value set for unconfigured-state applies to all
unconfigured analog voice channels.
The channel bank configuration key commands are used as follows:
Begin and end
The SLC ConnectReach system uses a template
mechanism to set groups of DS0s and associated
options within a given menu. For any given menu, the
template is applied to a range of channels defined by
the begin and end commands.
The begin and end commands determine the range
of channels to be configured. Channels may be set
individually or in groups of similar configuration. The
copy-to-channel-data command copies the
configuration template commands to the channels in
the range between begin and end. If you are
accessing the SLC ConnectReach system by means
of the console or Telnet, you must use the copy-to-
channel-data command after modifying the data in
the configuration template. If you do not, the
configuration data for the individual channels will not
be modified. If you are accessing the SLC
ConnectReach system from a Web browser, there is
no copy-to-channel-data command. Instead, the
Update button performs the same function. The
Show-all command displays the data in the
individual channels.
