Command Reference Guide
name <name>
Use the name command to specify a name for this wireless access point (AP). Use the no form of this
command to remove the assigned name.
Syntax Description

Default Values
By default, the name of the AP will be ADTN plus the last three bytes of the AP medium access control
(MAC) address (all uppercase).

Usage Examples
The following example assigns the name accounting1 to AP 1:
(config)#interface dot11ap 1
(config-dot11ap 1)#name accounting1
60000CRG0-35E
Specifies the name of the AP. The name may be up to 32 characters in
length.
