Add / Delete
Adds or deletes a user-defined connector type. The parameters of a user-defined con-
nector type can be modified in the table.
Note: Deleted/Missing Connector Types.
Deleting a connector type also deletes all calibration or adapter kits assigned to it.
Deleting a connector type that is used by a loaded recall set resets the affected
ports to the instrument's connector type and gender.
A setup can only be loaded if all its connector types (identified by their names) are
configured at the target instrument.

Calibration Kits dialog
The "Calibration Kits" dialog shows the available calibration kits for the different con-
nector types. It is also used for cal kit and cal kit file management.
Access: Channel – [Cal] > "Cal Devices" > "Cal Kits..."

The contents of the "Available Cal Kits" table vary, depending on the selected "Connec-
tor Type". The table can also contain kits with ideal or typical parameter values; see
Cal kit parameter

Assigning a "Label" to user-defined calibration kits is optional. However, the label is
displayed in many dialogs and can provide useful information about the kit, e.g. its
serial number. It is even possible to assign several calibration kits with the same name,
distinguished by their label, to a common connector type. See also
