5.9.3 Replacing the axis-3 gearbox
Keeping the cabling installed during gearbox replacement
For floor-mounted manipulators the cable harness and DressPack cable package
(if installed) can be kept installed on the robot, if there is enough free space on the
floor to put down the upper arm next to the manipulator. There should be enough
space to place two pallets in a row.
For inverted manipulators, the cable harness and DressPack cable package must
be removed from the upper arm.
Location of the gearbox
The gearbox is located as shown in the figure.
