3.1.5 Encoder connector specifications

In addition to the standard quick connectors, Delta also provides IP67 waterproof connectors for
ECM-A3 and ECM-B3 220V F40 - F80 motors.

Note: the diagram shows the connection between the servo drive and the encoder, and it is not drawn to
scale. The specification is subject to change depending on the selected servo drive and motor
models.

Connectors with tin-plated terminals are recommended. Since the terminal of the connector on the

servo motor is tin-plated, we recommend to use the connector with tin-plated terminal for the
connectors on both ends to have the same metal plating.
