11.2.3 Communication type motors

11.2.3.1 Third-party communication type motors

ASDA-A3 supports communication formats
Mitutoyo, Endat2.2, Fagor, Tamagawa, and Nikon.
The maximum resolution of the encoders supported by the servo drive is as follows. Encoders
with the resolution higher than the following specification are not supported.
Linear scale: 1 nm/pulse
Rotary encoder: 30-bit
When the CN2 connector of the servo drive is configured in the following three ways and AL011
is not displayed, execute the Motor Parameter Identification Wizard
after cycling power to the servo drive.
A position signal converter box + a pulse type motor

A position signal converter box + a sine wave type motor

Connecting with the third-party communication type motor
