If the RMT indicator does not perform as expected, check the following:
Be sure that your GPIB cable connections are secure and that the cable is free of defects.
Verify that the analyzer is in addressable-only mode and that its address is set to 11.
Be sure you are using the required equipment and software.
Be sure you have loaded all the required language extensions into the computer. (For a list of loaded
extensions, enter the following into the computer: LIST BIN)
If everything seems to be in order, but the RMT indicator still doesn't perform as expected, follow the
procedure in "Need Assistance?," that appears on the last page of this book.
